Free battle royale mobile game

Hopeless Land: Fight for Survival is an action game developed by HK Hero Entertainment. It is a brutal battle royale game, clearly inspired by PUBG or Rules of Survival. Here, 121 players will fight on an island that's full of the weapon until the last man—or eight people, if you are playing as a team—wins.

Hopeless Land is a free, first-person shooter game that is compatible with all major mobile devices. It is also lightweight, only taking up 54 megabytes of free memory. However, you may suffer lag times with communications and some interruptions in server connections

Same fight for survival

Hopeless Land: Fight for Survival starts the exact way as the other online battle royale games, players parachute to an island. Once landed, you will navigate a bland, almost-desolate island looking for supplies, all the while surviving against other players. You can use the empty buildings as a hiding place to increase your chance of lasting longer. There will be times when the perspective shifts to third-person, which can help get the lay of the land.

As with similar titles, the island shrinks. There will be an invisible wall, which denotes that an area is off-limits. In addition to weapons, you can also use vehicles, such as helicopters and boats. This adds a bit of excitement to the game. However, most of the time, you will be either be camping out waiting to snipe everybody or running for your life as high-level players target you.

You earn experience by killing other players and completing different goals. As mentioned, you can try to become the last man standing and play solo. However, you can also team up with another person. The game also allows you to be a part of an eight-person squad. All of these show a lack of imagination on the part of the developers. However, if you want familiar multiplayer shoot-em-up gameplay, it helps.

Not so smooth performance

Hopeless Land: Fight for Survival comes with three different settings: basic, operation, and pickup settings. You can customize these settings to meet your game needs. However, while it allows you to, it is not advisable to change some of them before you even start playing. The game also lets you customize your vehicles. You can choose to use buttons or no buttons when driving a car.

Of course, you can also customize your weapons to auto-aim, auto-pickup, and auto-fire. However, if you are not cool with auto-fire, you need to change this. Often, it only auto-aims the opponent. It does not provide a good aim but rather a square-option around the opponent. Another bad thing about it is that it actually makes aiming difficult. So, if you don't want to have a hard time sniping against enemies, changing this setting would be helpful.

Finally, the language will be hard to understand for most parts of the game, that is, if you are not used to battle royales. The messages sent are usually not in English since this game is China-made. Hence, it will be difficult to understand what is being passed through. This is actually bad since the message was helpful as it presents you with some rewards as well.

Same old game

Overall, Hopeless Land: Fight for Survival is another copy of PUBG. Most of the features in this game have been offered by the popular game. Even the interface is very similar, so gamers might find it aesthetically pleasing. However, this does mean that there is nothing good about the game. There are different modes available, and you can customize the setting to suit your gaming preferences.
